Customer Account Administrator: An example of a typical customer account administrator is a CAD tools manager. There are various user types for the Product Licensing Site, which are customer account administrator, end user, and evaluation user. This is helpful if a site has multiple design teams working on differing projects with different budget pools. A company site can have multiple accounts managed by different administrators. All purchases made can be managed in the same product entitlement account. Product entitlement accounts are company, site and administrator specific. Your product entitlements and resulting licenses are managed in a product entitlement account on the Xilinx web site. When installed, the license keys enable the use of the tool and IP that was purchased or is being evaluated. The redemption of a product entitlement results in the web site producing one or more license keys. Tools evaluation is for 30-days and IP evaluations are for 120 days. Full and No Charge licenses have a subscription period of 1 year. In addition to managing the product entitlements for your purchased tools and IP, you can also access product entitlements for No Charge or Evaluation products. The thin client allows you to select devices and components you wish to install, and the client will only download the files you need for the installation you selected. You can also download a self-extracting Web Install thin client executable for your OS. You can download individual OS-specific installers in TAR format.
